Ever wondered what songs with heart, truth and honesty sound like? Few artists have done it. Very few artists out pour all of their soul on stage and in the studio into a collective that exposes a sincere and revealing energy known to all who see them live or hear on record. With spellbound live shows to rave reviews the time has arrived for Tourist.
Tourist formed in early 2002 out of the mutual connection between Dave Paddon (vocals/guitar), Luke Brown (guitar), Steve Richardson (drums/percussion) and Mike Richardson (Bass). The chemistry of this quartet is an undeniable mix of passion and talent for the creative craft of capturing many generous pieces of soul into song.
In the process Tourist have supported the likes of Joe Camillieri, DarylBraithwaite, Dave Mann Collective, Josivac, The Wah Trees, Monsoon and even performed onstage with Michael Franti & Spearhead.

Take it to the Stage!
Tourist make a return to the stage on
Saturday August 28th @ Clancy's Pub Fremantle with our good buddy Will Udall playing solo support. Returning from studio exile and ready to show
you what the current live set can do! This will be a free showcase of some of the new records material and a chance to finally get the machine up and running again. See you on the 28th!!
Hope you like the new site. Once again our main man Dan Wood gave it a facelift as a present for finishing our new album. Please check out the blog section if you would like to stimulate conversation regarding the band or anything else.
After being the home ground for the band's entire lifespan, Andy Eddys' Rebel Studios, (where most of our songs where written and even some recorded) shut down. There seems to be a change of tide for all of us at the moment ;-) as we are currently in the infant stages of a new space and hopefully, fingers crossed, something permanent.

New Blood!!
I am extremely excited to announce the birth of Xavia Jada Paddon a 10 pound baby girl for Dave Paddon and Pia Morris. 'Fit and Firing' according to Dave after her birth this morning @ 6:29 June 24th 2010. The same day Australia gets its first female PM. Congratulations!!!!
